The Police University in Kaduna will commence academic activities in September 2012

Abubakar said the university had been approved by the Federal Executive Council who said
the President is very committed for the take-off of the university reiterated that the Senate building is ready and the University already has a deputy Vice-Chancellor coordinating its affairs.
He gave assurance that issues of accommodation, welfare, training and other issues would be given priority by his administration.
