Traditional ruler raises alarm over spate of kidnapping in Ondo


The traditional ruler of Otason in Ile- Oluji in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Chief Taiwo Akinbohum, has raised alarm over incessant kidnapping in his domain.

Akinbohun, who spoke with journalists in Ile-Oluji , said the residents of the community are now living in fear. “My people can no longer walk about in the night due to the fear of being kidnapped by unidentified persons,” he said.

The traditional ruler, who sighted an example of a resident of the community identified as Mr. Idowu Adegoke, who escaped from kidnappers last week, called on security operatives to fashion out modalities that would flush out kidnappers from the community.
