Police officers attached to the Badagry police station have arrested an Anglican Church reverend for allegedly killing a street hawker.
The accused clergyman, identified as Michael Adewale, was said to have hit the deceased, Ifeanyi Alegu, 18, and his brother, Chinedu, with his car along the busy Lagos-Badagry road.
Reports have it that the street hawkers were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Ifeanyi later died.
The State Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the incident, adding that the case was under investigation at the Badagry police station.
